Please remember that:

• Civitas is a “uniform school” and we expect students to be in uniform every day
• High School classes begin at 8:00 am
• Middle school classes begin at 8:15 am
• Students have a ½ day on Wednesday’s and the elective period ends at 11:25 am. Middle grade students eat lunch and are dismissed at 12:00 pm and high school students may elect to eat lunch.
• Civitas follows a different yearly calendar than other City Schools. Please check our calendar to make sure that you are aware of when we are “in session” and when we are out of school.

We make every attempt to stay in close touch with families. We:

• Produce and send home a session news letter
• Are available through email – please click on the Contact Us link
• Use Global Connect, the auto call service to pass along important messages. Please make sure that we have updated phone contact information. Send any updates to your child’s morning meeting teacher.
• Are beginning to build an email contact list. Please use our Web form to update our contact list
